Hopper: Flights, Hotels & Cars App Reviews

Great app to get alerts from price changes and predictions. But the options displayed seem overpriced compared to other websites.

Six days before my flight I called Hopper to find out how to print my ticket. Thats when I found out my flight had been cancelled. I bought the tickets in April for a flight to my best friends wedding in July. The app never changed or updated to say it was cancelled, it in fact said it was still confirmed. Apparently they sent an email (I didnt see one) After a truly stressful four hours, they made things right and rebooked it for the same dates & times and at the same price. Ill still give it a 5/5 because otherwise its a great app. Just be aware of what happened to me and hopefully the same thing doesnt happen to you!

I am enjoying the service. Easy to use and have booked two flights now based on the algo. Love it.

Great great predictions. Am a data scientist and a consultant, really love this app as it gets the job done and well.

I use the price watch function a lot, and have found it accurate. Predictions so far have been good. Doesnt always show the absolute lowest price but there is no service that has access to all the airlines, and prices are so fluid. Overall very happy.

Great app to plan your air travel.

We saved a TON of money by following Hoppers recommendation to wait to book our trip. We were notified when the prices went down and we booked via their app in less than two minutes. Very simple booking process! And when our airline cancelled our flight, hopper called us to arrange an alternative date. Excellent customer service!

Tried this for an up coming flight. Input my dates and let it run for several months. Everytime I received an alert I also checked online myself. I found much better pricing online with the same airlines. Not a trustworthy app for finding a good deal and that is the only point of this app.

Hopper is good as a guide in your search for best fare, but you should NOT depend only on Hopper. Why not?: Sometimes the price on the airlines webpage is lower than what hopper shows Use hopper as a guide. But dont buy through it, and dont stop searching on your own...unless hopper advances and gives us a reason not to...
